Test of English as a Foreign Language Paper Based Test
TOEFL PBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Paper Based Test) is conducted in those areas where Internet is not accessible. The features of TOEFL PBT test are described in the lines given below.
- The three-hour long TOEFL PBT test is divided into four sections - Listening, Structure and written expression, Reading comprehension and ‘Test of Written English’ (TWE)
- The applicants are required to register in advance either through online or via mail, because the test centers are limited for TOEFL PBT Test and they have limited seating.
- The range of TOEFL PBT Test scores is different from Internet Based Test (IBT) format. Unlike the IBT, the score of the writing section of PBT is not included in the final score of the candidate.
- To prepare for TOEFL PBT, sample question papers for each section are separately given in the official website of ETS.
