Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) is entrusted with the responsibility of conducting CGFNS Test, in order to measure applicant’s knowledge and understanding in the field of nursing, so that they can practice a career in same in U.S. The test is conducted in order to ensure quality nurses and other health care professionals in U.S. It is also a platform where students can examine their chances to crack the U.S. registered nurse licensing exam- NCLEX-RN. Certain eligibility criteria and licensure requirements are needed to be followed, in order to appear for CGFNS Qualifying Exam. CGFNS Qualifying Exam 2011 Test Date
In order to appear for CGFNS Qualifying Exam 2011, the test window is fixed from 7 March 2011 to 11 March 2011. Deadline for New application and Re-examination application is fixed as 19 January 2011and 2 February 2011 respectively. The candidates can change the test centers and test dates by giving 72 hours notice before the scheduled exam. No credit will be given in case the candidate fails to appear for the scheduled exam.
CGFNS Test Centers
The CGFNS Qualifying Exam is scheduled four times a year in March, July, September (in selected cities) and November, at more than 50 locations around the world. In India, Bangalore, Cochin, Delhi, and Mumbai are the test centers assigned for CGFNS Qualifying Exam.
