What to Bring on GMAT Test Day



Graduate Management Admission Test, prominently referred to as GMAT is conducted worldwide to select deserving candidates for admission into postgraduate business administration/management courses offered at diploma/degree level. The Computer-Adaptive standardized test is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) through its various test centers located all over the world. The test examines the candidate’s Mathematical and English skills under three sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Quantitative Section and Verbal Section. The candidates with a valid graduation degree are eligible to apply to appear for the entrance exam.
 
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is among the highly competitive entrance examinations of its field. Many reputed Universities and institutions accept GMAT scores. Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their GMAT scores, but at times, selection procedure also includes candidate’s performance in group discussion and personal interview. The GMAT scores are valid for five years duration. In order to appear for GMAT, the candidates are required to bring certain necessary things details of which have been mentioned below.
 
The candidates should be carrying their identification (ID) proof. In addition to the valid ID the candidate should be present in person at the test center. The test center administrator may take the digital photograph and/or signature, as well as digital scans of candidate’s fingerprint and/or palm vein pattern. The candidates are required to carry appointment confirmation letter or email. In case, the candidate does not have any confirmation letter, he/she is still allowed to appear for the test, provided he/she is carrying a scheduled appointment.
